PETRAKIS Transport has had a specific policy in place for some years now to promote the decarbonization of its fleet, which is gradually being expanded.
PETRAKIS Transport has placed its first order for three (3) new electric Ford E-Transit vans. These new electric vehicles, with a fully electric powertrain and a 89 kWh battery and with 3.500 kg payload, are due to join our fleet over the next two (2) months to replace similar diesel vans. Additional fast charging facilities are expected to be installed at our facility in Elefsina.
Kostas Petrakis, Operations Director of PETRAKIS Transport said: “Electric vehicles are an essential part of our plan to be Net Zero Carbon Emissions across our operations by 2040 and offer so many benefits for both our staff and customers and today’s announcement is an exciting and major step forward for us in this mission.”
